Sirloin steak & golden potatoes are marinated in a balsamic herb marinade, skewered & grilled to perfection in this recipe for Rosemary Steak Skewers!
This recipe is for all of my “meat and potatoes” people out there! Calling all my Oklahoma friends and family, I know you’re going to love this one!
My idea for this dish originally came from an idea I had to make “Steak Frites Skewers” basically combining the delicious dish onto one skewer and tossing in some delicious herbs for flavor!
The result was exactly what I wanted, flavorful juicy steak paired perfectly with marinated baby potatoes!
Rosemary Steak Skewers Ingredients
- 2 cups golden potatoes
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- ½ cup olive oil
- 2 tsp steak seasoning
- 3 garlic cloves (crushed)
- 2 lbs sirloin (cut into cubes)
Rosemary Steak Skewers Instructions
Add the potatoes to a large pot of boiling water and boil for 15 minutes (or until barely fork tender).
In a small bowl combine the thyme, rosemary, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, steak seasoning, and garlic. Pour 3/4 cup of the marinade over the steak and place it in the refrigerator.
Once the potatoes are boiled, drain them and place them in a small bowl. Pour the remaining marinade over the potatoes and toss.
Remove the steak from the refrigerator after 15 minutes and skewer the steak and potatoes. Place on a grill over medium heat for 6-8 minutes, rotating throughout the grilling process.
This is a simple meal that can be made in 30 minutes or less, but it is sure to impress at dinner time or your next BBQ!
